I guess everyone here is already familiar with these three behaviors of operators. Since the 5G network was officially put into commercial use on October 31, 2019, China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Telecom have been pushing 5G packages to users endlessly. Recently, a friend of Lei Technology has frequently received calls from a certain operator, almost every day, and sometimes twice a day. The key reason why most users are reluctant to upgrade to 5G packages is the price. In order to seize the user base, many operators have launched 4G unlimited traffic and high-value traffic packages. However, the 5G package priced at 100 yuan only has about 30GB of traffic. In addition, 4G packages can also use 5G networks. Although the speed is limited, it is still several times faster than 4G networks. Why bother to buy 5G packages? What's more, the progress of 5G base station construction is not very high. 5G networks have not been popularized in many places in China. There is no need to open a 5G package now. Liu Liehong's question about different rights for new and old users really hits the nail on the head. In order to attract new users, the three major operators continue to launch affordable new packages, but old users cannot use them. The three major operators even canceled the low-price packages available on the Internet. Many netizens complained on the forum that old users are really worse than dogs. This behavior hurts the interests of old users. If it weren't for the fact that there are too many things bound to mobile phone cards now, I believe everyone would be so angry that they would want to change their cards. For example, before I joined Lei Technology, I reluctantly changed my mobile phone card. Although it is troublesome to change the bound account, I no longer have to endure the old card with low traffic and expensive call charges. The last problem is the exaggerated promotion of packages. I don’t know if you have encountered it. I recently saw a carrier’s promotion on a live broadcast platform, 360GB of traffic for 19 yuan. I clicked on it and saw that it was 360GB a year, only 40GB a month, and it was all directional traffic, which could only be used in specified software. The operators' various tricks have already angered the public. However, we have no other operators to use except China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom. We can only hope that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will crack down on them soon. Fortunately, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has noticed the demands of consumers and will strictly investigate the violations of the three major operators this year, and promote further reductions in fees and increases in speed for 5G packages. |
