China Mobile releases February operating data: 5G customer number reaches 168,971

China Mobile announced its operating data for February 2021. Among them, the number of China Mobile's 5G package customers increased by 4.197 million in February, reaching a total of 168.971 million.

In terms of mobile business, as of the end of February 2021, China Mobile's mobile customer base in February reached 937.169 million, a net decrease of 3.692 million. Among them, the number of 5G package customers reached 173.168 million, a net increase of 4.197 million; the number of 4G customers reached 781.333 million, a net increase of 1.707 million.

In terms of wired broadband, the total number of China Mobile's wired broadband customers reached 215.7 million, with a net increase of 2.013 million.

Data shows that by the end of 2020, China Mobile has opened 390,000 5G base stations, providing 5G services to all prefecture-level cities and some key county towns across the country. China Mobile's development speed in 5G construction can be described as rapid.
