China Economic and Trade Development Park and Huawei signed a strategic cooperation agreement

On September 11, Zhongjing Chengyuan Technology Co., Ltd. and Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing. Based on the agreement, the two parties will work closely together in the planning, design and construction of a new generation of green data centers and innovation of optical storage technology. This marks that the two parties have launched comprehensive and in-depth cooperation in the field of information and communication technology (ICT) to jointly promote the application of new optical-magnetic fusion storage technologies in cloud data centers. According to the agreement, Huawei will provide China Economic and Trade Development Park and its affiliated companies with advanced construction concepts and infrastructure services for optical storage, big data application platforms or big data operation centers, including required storage hardware equipment, big data software, cloud hosting, etc., and establish technical cooperation on the design of a new generation of green data centers.

Li Kai, Chairman of China Economic Net Data Group, said: China Economic Park Data Center is one of the cloud data centers deployed by China Economic Net Data Group across the country. The goal is to build China Economic Park into the first new-generation green data center that adopts optical-magnetic fusion storage technology. Huawei, with its strong technical advantages and R&D strength, can provide strong technical support for the construction and operation of the new generation of green data centers in China Economic Park. Optical-magnetic fusion storage technology is the strategic investment direction of China Economic Park, with huge development space and commercial value.
