Just now: The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology requires the three major operators to conduct self-inspection of their "unlimited" packages!

The entire industry should immediately conduct self-inspection on the problems existing in the current promotion of "unlimited" packages!! The three basic telecommunications companies all stated that they will strictly implement the requirements of the meeting, immediately conduct self-inspection, standardize promotional and business operations, and ensure that users are fully aware of their consumption.

On June 7, in response to the publicity issues such as hidden restrictive clauses in the "unlimited" packages of basic telecommunications companies, the relevant departments of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology held a meeting and clearly put forward relevant requirements:

First, enterprises are required to raise their awareness. They should conscientiously implement the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress, adhere to the people-centered development philosophy, and always start from the perspective of user needs in the process of providing business services, further enhance service awareness, and effectively enhance users' sense of gain.

Second, companies are required to standardize their publicity. We must attach great importance to the problems in the current publicity of "unlimited" packages, and the entire industry should immediately conduct self-inspection, effectively standardize the publicity and promotion of such packages, prohibit exaggeration in publicity, and clearly mark the restrictive clauses.

Third, enterprises are required to learn from this experience. They should further standardize their business operations, ensure that marketing and publicity are truthful and accurate, clearly mark prices, and fulfill their obligation to remind users of restrictive conditions and validity periods of tariff plans, and not unilaterally exaggerate or confuse the extent of discounts, so as to ensure that users are fully aware of their consumption.

Fourth, enterprises are required to strengthen services. We should further deepen the supply-side structural reform, improve package design, attach importance to user experience, explore pricing models that better meet user needs, strengthen fee disclosure, improve user traffic usage notification and reminder services, and effectively improve service levels.

At the meeting, the three basic telecommunications companies all expressed that they would strictly implement the requirements of the meeting, immediately conduct self-inspections, standardize publicity and business operations, and ensure that users are fully aware of their consumption.
