Foreign media: China is so weird! With 5G networks so advanced, is it unnecessary to increase the speed?

I believe everyone knows that my country's Huawei's 5G technology is second to none in the world. Compared with Huawei, other countries' 5G technology is still far behind. Compared with 4G technology, the most obvious and well-known improvement of 5G technology is the network speed, which is a qualitative improvement. Just like the speed of 4G compared to 3G.

Foreign media: China is so weird! 5G network is so developed, but the speed has been improved but people think it is redundant? What's going on? When living in China, foreign reporters learned that Chinese people have different views on 5G technology. Some people say that 5G technology is amazing and strongly support Huawei, while others think that 4G speed is completely sufficient and 5G is redundant.

Is 5G really redundant? I guess not. Let’s first look back at 4G. When 4G was changing season, many people said that there was no need to change, as 4G was enough. Then, it became really popular! 4G has achieved a qualitative leap. Not only can you watch high-definition movies smoothly, it has even spawned the rise of the live broadcast industry. People can broadcast live outdoors without any lag.

What convenience can 5G bring to people? Will there be a qualitative leap? First of all, there is no doubt about it. However, at present, when 5G is not yet circulated, the speed of 5G is indeed a bit excessive. After all, our 4G network is already smooth enough to watch videos, and there is no higher demand. When using the 4G network, we are more concerned about the cost of traffic than the speed.

So is 5G redundant? Not really. 5G networks are very useful in some areas. For example, they play a very important role in driverless cars and cloud technology. And a fast network is definitely better than a slow network. When you play games, do you pay special attention to the details of the scene quality? You may not even look at it, but you can't say it's redundant.

It has to be said that 5G still has a long way to go, both in terms of construction and deployment. But I believe that in the near future, it will definitely become a part of our lives. The main reason now is that the 5G base station layout has not been properly completed, and many 5G-related products have not yet been launched, so 5G seems somewhat "redundant"!
