H3C wins bid for Qingdao Metro to boost the development of Qingdao's urban rail transit

Recently, New H3C Group, a subsidiary of Tsinghua Unigroup, has won consecutive bids for the integrated monitoring system and AFC automatic ticket vending and checking system for Qingdao Metro Line 1 and Line 8, and won the entire share of IT products, helping Qingdao Metro to better play its key function as the city's transportation artery.

As an important part of Qingdao's urban rail transit planning, Qingdao Line 1 and Line 8 will be opened in 2020 and 2021 respectively. Line 1 passes through important transportation hubs such as Qingdao Railway Station and Qingdao Liuting International Airport. It is a rapid rail transit corridor connecting the west coast area, the east coast urban area and the north coast urban area, and runs through the north and south of Qingdao. It is also the first submarine subway under construction in inland my country and the longest cross-sea subway in China; while Line 8 is a rapid trunk line connecting Qingdao New Airport, the north coast urban area and the east coast urban area. It is expected to carry up to 500,000 passengers per day after opening.
