Follow WeChat! Weibo launches new emojis: they can also “split”

Weibo and WeChat are two well-known social platforms. Their every move will attract much attention and appear on the Internet hot search list from time to time.

This month, WeChat launched 6 new emojis, including rolling eyes, 666, let me see, sigh, bitter, and cracked.

On November 26, some netizens discovered that Weibo quietly launched a new emoticon - "Cracked", and the emoticon shape is similar to that of WeChat.

A blogger joked that after WeChat split, my Weibo account could also split.

Previously, WeChat also launched a function similar to Weibo topics. On Weibo, you can use the pound sign “#” to define topics. For example, in the Weibo text “Today’s #weather# is really nice”, the “weather” will be parsed as a topic and a link to the topic will be automatically added.

WeChat now has a similar function. Just input “#+weather” in the WeChat conversation interface and the other party will be able to check the weather conditions directly.
