The city of Bryan, Texas, recently announced that it will soon offer fiber-optic Internet access to its residents. Operator Metronet will bring fiber-optic Internet, TV and telephone services to more than 90% of Bryan residents and businesses.

MetroNet, headquartered in Evansville, Indiana, provides fiber-optic communications services such as high-speed Internet, full-featured telephone and cable TV. MetroNet established a fiber optic network in Greencastle, Indiana in 2005 and has since grown to serve and build networks in more than 100 communities in Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Florida, North Carolina and Virginia. |
