Aruba Named a Leader in Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Wired and Wireless LAN Infrastructure for Sixteenth Consecutive Year

Beijing - November 30, 2021 – Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company (NYSE: HPE), announced today that it has been positioned in the Leaders quadrant for the 16th consecutive year in Gartner’s latest Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Wired and Wireless LAN Infrastructure report. In addition, in the accompanying Critical Capabilities for Enterprise Wired and Wireless LAN Infrastructure report, Aruba received the highest score in three of the five use cases, surpassing the number of use cases in which all other vendors received the highest score.

Gartner evaluates vendors for inclusion in the Magic Quadrant based on two key criteria: completeness of vision and ability to execute. In both categories, Aruba continues to be positioned by Gartner in the Leaders quadrant.

In addition, in the "Key Capabilities" report accompanying the Magic Quadrant report, Gartner evaluated the effectiveness of suppliers in meeting the needs of five key use cases for enterprises, namely: unified wired and wireless LAN access, pure wireless LAN upgrade/new construction, pure wired upgrade/new construction, enterprise remote branch office networking and automated network operation and maintenance (NetOps). Among all suppliers, Aruba is the only one with three highest-scoring use cases.

“Aruba is honored to be one of only two companies to be ranked in the Leaders quadrant for the past 16 years,” said David Hughes, chief product and technology officer, Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company. “Our customer-first approach has been deeply embedded in our processes, people and culture over the years, which is a key reason why customers continue to look to Aruba and why Gartner continues to position us in the Leaders quadrant. With continued innovation in Aruba ESP (Edge Services Platform) and our strategic move to strengthen our as-a-service offering, we are confident that enterprises will continue to see the inherent value and ROI of Aruba solutions and believe that we will maintain our position as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Wired and Wireless LAN Infrastructure for a long time.”

Gartner also continues to recognize other components in Aruba's industry-leading portfolio, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company (HPE). In September 2021, HPE (Aruba and Silver Peak) was listed as a leader in the 2021 Gartner Magic Quadrant for WAN Edge Infrastructure, marking the fourth consecutive year that HPE (Aruba and Silver Peak) has been included in the Leaders quadrant. In addition, Aruba won the Gartner Peer Insights Customer Choice Award for Wired and Wireless LAN Access Infrastructure in May 2021; Silver Peak won the Gartner Peer Insights Customer Choice Award for WAN Edge Infrastructure in February 2021; Aruba won the Gartner Peer Insights Customer Choice Award for Network Access Control in October 2020.
