Wireless WiFi networks have been installed on 19 important passenger trains and more than 3,000 passenger trains, including Harbin Railway Bureau. More than 70% of the WiFi networks have been tested and are expected to be open to passengers by the end of this month. Passengers will be able to use free wireless networks on passenger trains.
Harbin Railway Train Harbin Railway Bureau is the railway bureau with the largest number of green-skinned passenger trains in the entire railway. Installing wireless WiFi on trains is an urgent need of passengers and the market potential is huge. A relevant person in charge of the Harbin Railway Bureau said that during the trial installation stage, in order to solve the problem of friction between the "snake skin pipe" and the connection between the equipment during the operation of passenger trains, which easily caused safety hazards to the equipment, the Harbin Railway Bureau department conducted a large number of experiments and explored the glue injection cooling installation method, which solved the problems of equipment wear and safety hazards. As of November 16, 3,120 passenger trains have been installed with wireless WiFi networks, and 2,456 passenger trains have completed testing. It is expected that all testing work will be completed by the end of this month, and all trains will be officially put into operation. At the same time, it is expected that by the end of this year, 3,400 trains will be equipped with wireless WiFi networks, and passengers will be able to use the free wireless WiFi network. |
